Nora Farajy is a cute little girl full of joy, the apple of her parent’s eye.
She showed her first symptoms after her regular 4-months vaccination and at 7-months she was already 100% diagnosed with SMA type 1.
Her parents were devastated by the news and they made sure to take her to the best professionals, now she is under the supervision of Dr. Fayazi in Homedan and Dr. Zamani in Tehran.
There is only one solution, the medicine is called Zolgensma. But there is hope for Nora only if her family gets help in collecting the funds as they are not able to pay for it. ‼️Zolgensma therapy costs over 2 Million EURs + at least 3 months of treatment and recuperation costs.
?There are only a few hospitals in the world that could do this special treatment. The Bethesda Children’s Hospital in Budapest is within the first 5 centers in Europe to successfully use gene therapy and became the first center in Central Eastern Europe in doing so. Up to today, the hospital has broadened its experience by effectively treating over 11 patients.

Other options for Nora
If we cannot make it to collect this amount to treat her condition with Zolgensma we will try our best to get one of the other two alternative medicines that are existing for her. If anything happens that she won’t need a therapy anymore, all the raised amount will go to another child with SMA in contract with EliMo Foundation.
These are terms that all parties have agreed on and the agreement was signed by EliMo Alapitvány charity and Nora’s parents, her legal representatives.
